Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services

Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services offers nonsectarian programs and support to individuals — primarily adults — with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and their family caregivers. We follow a person-centered approach to ensure those with disabilities have a hand in directing their services and a voice concerning their future. The programs promote self-determination and the right of those with special needs to choose their own destinies.

Our goal is to help these individuals realize their dreams and to integrate them into the community by providing them with developmental supports, a social network, employment and a means of transportation.

A Community-Based Program

JF&CS works with other community agencies, providers and employers to maximize assistance to our clients. Participants and their families can turn to us for community information, resources and a full array of services concerning adults with developmental disabilities. Our staff can help you navigate everything from government programs to educational or vocational opportunities for the family member with developmental disabilities.

Job Opportunities

Our staff consists of creative and motivated individuals with the ability to serve the Atlanta community. These professionals make a difference every day for our clients. If your own experience is backed by enthusiasm, a customer-focused approach and a can-do attitude, then consider joining our team. You too can be a part of delivering our vision.
