Aviv Older Adult Services
Alterman/JETS Transportation Fund
Provides on demand escorted rides to seniors and adults with disabilities to medical appointments, work, and social appointments.
Arlene and Steven Marcus Home Care Fund
Provides funds for home care services for elderly homebound individuals.
Aviv Older Adult Services Fund
Funds a comprehensive program that helps older persons remain independent by providing lifestyle sustaining services including in-home services, transportation, and other critically needed supports.
Barbara Rosenberg Fund for Innovative Aging Practices
The Fund will be used to empower older adults through advocacy, access to information and training on aging issues and may provide grants for workshops, community forums, programs & services at JF&CS and/or the NORC to empower older adults.
Holocaust Survivors Fund
Provides essential social services, emergency financial assistance and social programming to Holocaust survivors and their families.
Legacy Home Care Services
Helps JF&CS’ Legacy Homecare Services and helps improve and expand the program so more individuals can be served with high-quality nonmedical care in their homes.
Dr. Morris and Marian Miehl Family Fund for Older Adult Care Coordination
Supports JF&CS’ efforts to improve and expand service delivery to older adults in their homes. Service delivery includes clinical services provided to older adults, geriatric care management, the overall coordination of care through case management, information and referral, and other direct services provided to older adults to keep them in their homes. The fund may be used to support staffing requirements for direct-care services and/or other specific needs to provide home-based care to older adults.
Donations will directly support Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) programs and services, such as subsidizing health and wellness classes, monthly lunches, transportation and voucher programs.
Ellen Rosintoski Technology Fund
Improves access to technology for older adults through instruction, providing technology directly to older adult clients, and assisting JF&CS with investing in technology to improve services to clients in the older adult services, counseling, or careers programs.
Career Development Fund
Funds a full-spectrum of services which include: Career Counseling, testing, workshops, and computer training.
Child & Adolescent Services
Child & Adolescent Services Fund
Funds comprehensive, confidential services to children and adolescents which include therapy, psychiatry, and psychological consultation, etc.
PAL - Big Brother/Big Sister Fund
Allows for ongoing professional support for the PAL Program. The program carefully screens and matches a Jewish child from a single parent home with a loving Jewish adult.
Cary Sanders PAL Fund
Provides support to the PAL Program.
Art Therapy Fund
Supports counseling sessions that help clients creatively enhance and develop their imaginations while they increase self-awareness, problem-solving, and self-efficiency.
Cancer Support Fund
Funds a weekly support group for individuals with cancer and their families; printed materials for community outreach.
Funds provide services and related printed materials for the community Chaplain, who visits unaffiliated Jews in hospitals and nursing care facilities.
Counseling Services Fund
Funds the agency's core program, counseling, which offers both treatment and prevention services to children, families, and individuals at a time of need or crisis.
Judy & Hank Greenstone Professional Enrichment Fund
Provides financial support for the annual lecture series benefiting our professional counselors.
Owen Halpern Heritage Fund
The Owen Halpern Heritage Fund honors the legacy of Owen Halpern, of blessed memory, by providing support from programs and services that meet the individual service needs of LGBT community members.
Rhoda Margolis Fund for Graduate Intern Training
Provides support to underwrite the costs of training graduate interns at JF&CS, such as clinical supervision time and professional development costs. The fund is named in honor of Rhoda Margolis for her legacy of leadership at JF&CS over 35 years.
Shalom Bayit Fund
Funds counseling, crisis intervention and referrals for adults and children who have been physically, emotionally or sexually abused. Also provides educational programming and prevention of domestic violence within the Jewish community. For day-to-day operations.
Shalom Bayit Sustaining Fund
Provides reserve funds to sustain program providing counseling for adults and children who have been affected by physical, emotional or sexual abuse, and for ongoing educational and prevention programming around abuse in the Jewish community.
Provides recovery support and tools, to serve as the go-to resource for the Jewish community. Through a Jewish lens, we help people navigate the system of resources, ensure continuity of care for all levels of recovery, and provide excellent clinical support.
Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services

Funds a network of services that provides clients with opportunities for residential placement and skills training (Independent Living Program), counseling, vocational placement, recreation, transportation, and respite services for families.
Larry Bregman, M.D., Educational Fund
Funds support a yearly educational conference that offers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their caregivers, and professionals working with this population valuable and relevant information.
Webb Spraetz Empowerment Fund
Provides funds to ensure the care of adults with disabilities, enhance the professional skills of those providing care, and to engage our community in understanding, accepting, and advocating for the inclusion of these valuable individuals.
Zimmerman-Horowitz Independent Living Program Fund
Provides financial assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in the community to enhance skills of daily living.

Adoption - Cradle of Love Fund
Provides support to the Cradle of Love Adoption program.
Ben Massell Dental Clinic Fund
Funds patient care materials at our full service dental clinic supported by volunteer dentists.
Ben Massell Dental Clinic Endowment Fund
Provides funding to maintain the clinic building and replace critical dental equipment for our award winning free dental clinic.
Dr. RIchard Sugarman Memorial Endowment Fund
The purpose of the fund is to honor and perpetuate the legacy of Dr. Richard Sugarman, of blessed memory, by providing support for the Ben Massell Dental Clinic. Distributions from the Fund shall support four priorities; teaching support, Periodontics and Prosthetic programs, technology improvements and maintenence. One or more of these priorities shall be supported by Fund distributions each fiscal year, with fiscal years commencing on July 1 of each calendar year.
Golden Cradle of Love Fund
Provides support to the Cradle of Love Adoption Program.
Jordan Andrew Kahn Adoption Fund
Contributes to the maintenance of the Cradle of Love Adoption Program.
Miracle of Hannah Fund
Provides funds to support the operations of the Cradle of Love Adoption program.
Synagogue Outreach Fund
Provides funds for our Synagogue Outreach Initiative.
Ann and Michael Kay Leadership Fund
Enhances capacity and leadership for the agency.
Capital Improvements Fund
A reserve fund to aid in it’s upkeep.
Community Human Services Fund
Provides support for the programming of the agency in the greatest need as chosen each year by the donor.
The Eddie and Elaine Marcus Financial Assistance Fund
Provides emergency financial assistance.
Edlin Family Fund
Provides funding for the holiday gift program.
Emergency Crisis Fund
Financial assistance for Jewish families.
Friedman Family Mitzvah Fund

Helen Goldstein Library and Resource Center Fund
Funds and maintains a resource center/library for JF&CS Staff.
Herbert Kohn Meritorious Service Award Fund
An annual award given to recipients who have shown outstanding agency commitment and dedication are given a scholarship to attend the national AJFCA conference.
Joseph Jacobs/Workmen's Circle Cemetery Endowment Fund
Provides funds for dignified burial for those who cannot afford a proper Jewish funeral, as well as funds to provide perpetual maintenance of Jewish gravesites.
Judith N. Cohen Fund for the Future
Supports the overall operations of JF&CS fundraising and resource development department.
The Gary Miller Legacy of Leadership Fund
Provides support for special projects and/or agency needs to be determined in consultation with Gary himself.
Marilyn Romm Ehrlich Mitzvah Maker Fund
Provides funds for emergency financial assistance.
Mindy R. Wertheimer, Ph.D. Program Fund for Professional Enrichment and Education
Provides funds for professional educational opportunities for JF&CS staff.
Stacy G. Fialkow Staff Appreciation Fund
Provides an annual award to recognize outstanding performance of an individual JF&CS staff member to be used towards continuing education.
The President's Legacy Fund
A reserve fund that seeks to meet needs where gaps in services appear.
Tzedakah Fund / Kosher Food Pantry
Provides food, programs, and other supports for those in need.
VIA (Volunteers In Action) Fund
Provides resources to our young professional volunteer group who donate their time and talents to JF&CS and the Atlanta Community.
