How to Get Started

Thank you so much for your interest in fundraising for JF&CS! Among the reasons you may decide to create a project are: a birthday, a bar/bat mitzvah project, a syngagogue project or another simcha. Whatever the reason, we are grateful for your interest and enthusiasm for JF&CS.

  2. Create a project

    • Enter the basics: title, short description, image, category and your location.
    • We recognize that you may need help with images and have created a page where you can right-click and save images to your computer in order to upload them on this site. You'll be able to see this page once you're logged in.
  3. Set your goals

    • Choose your fundraising amount and timeframe.
  4. Share your story

    • Explain why fundraising for this cause is important to you.
    • You will also be asked to include another picture.
    • This can be related to the reason that you're fundraising or to the specific division.
  5. Make a list of rewards

    • Rewards are required and are how you will thank the people who will support you.
    • Rewards are related to the amount that someone donates.
    • Sample rewards are: thanking someone on Facebook or making something for your donors.
    • JF&CS may be able to provide you with rewards and will communicate details with you after you create your project.
  6. Save your project

    • Once it's saved, JF&CS will receive an email to review and then approval your project.
    • You will then receive an email once we approve it.
    • Then be sure to share it with your friends so that you can start fundraising!
