HAMSA Recovery Group (Monday, Apr 3, 2017 11:00 am - 12:30 pm)

A therapeutic group that focuses on promoting recovery and helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of its roots, causes and conditions. Through the process of recovery, there is a need to better understand ourselves and how we relate to others. In addition to gaining the support of others, we will explore how to navigate life’s challenges with a specific emphasis on boundary setting and adopting new ways of thinking.

Who: Open to anyone who wants support through his or her own recovery process.

When: Thursdays from 6 - 7 pm

Cost: $35 per session (we have financial assistance for those who qualify)

Starting Over Divorce Group (Monday, Apr 10, 2017 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Starting Over is a Divorce Support Group for men and women who are separated or divorced. Issues discussed are legal, communication, letting go, parenting, rejection, dating and adjusting to differences. Meetings are at JFCS the second and last Monday at 6:00-8:00 pm. Helen Kotler, Ph. Caregiver Support Group - Dunwoody (Tuesday, Apr 11, 2017 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm)

This is an open group for caregivers who are caring for family members. We hope to provide a safe and supportive place for caregivers in similar situations to come together to share stories and resources and to support one another. There is no fee to attend this group.
