Jewish Sensitivity Training for Addiction Treatment Professionals

Date: Tuesday, January 22, 2019 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: HAMSA Helps
Do you know the difference between Orthodox and Reform Judaism? Do you know what a Passover Seder is or that it includes drinking 4 glasses of wine customarily? Do you know why any of this is applicable to your day-to-day with clients in the field of substance use disorders?

Join us for a two hour Sensitivity Training that will answer these questions, many more and give you tangible things you can do in your practice/center to ensure you are able to serve the Jewish community in a culturally sensitive and competent manner.

Attendees will receive 2 Core CEU's, approved by The Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work, upon completion of the training.
